摘要	The discovery of taeniopterid remains in the Middle Jurassic Yima Formation (Henan Province, China) has provided evidence for the presence of bennettitalean remains, for the first time from this formation. The study of the cuticle enables us to attribute the material to a new species: Nilssoniopteris bolei. This discovery is related to the southern position of the locality in the North China Floristic Province. The Yima Flora is basically of the Siberian type but with rare Bennettitales.
